Usually Vinyl Decking comes with a limited lifetime warranty. The best ones out there are manufactured by DreamDeck, Kroy and EZ Deck. Disadvantages: They are relatively expensive. What can happen to vinyl, is that it can fade and get brittle with age unless specially treated at the factory, so do your research . Pay attention to the warranty and how it is manufactured. Also all vinyl eventually loses its gloss. Availability: Kroy deck planks come 8 in. wide, DreamDeck planks are 5 1/2 in. wide and EZ Deck planks are 4 or 6 in. wide. Find a distributor to order Vinyl Decking. When ordering choose skid-resistant planks, usually in a variety of colors. Again do your research and look for non fade treatments like the one used by EZ Deck. Install by cutting to length with a circular saw; Plank ends are covered with vinyl caps. .
