I have been in the home improvement industry for over 30 years.  I currently hold a B1 (General Builder) Contractor license as well as a flooring, tile ,and  Contractor Painting License.

My goal is to provide the homeowner with tips and shortcuts that I have accumulated over the years.  But even more important to provide the right information to help you make the best buying decision for your home or project. 

For example the  National  Association  of  Home  Builders,  states  that  carpet  makes  up  61  percent of flooring material  in new  single-family homes   (hardwoods accounted for 11 percent).  

 Carpet is a $14 billion industry fin the U.S.   As you probably know , carpet is  an expensive purchase for homeowners   (ie) a typical installation costs thousands of dollars.

It is to the  advantage of  the homeowner to  be armed with the  best possible information   before making a buying decision.
