Installation
TimberTech tongue and groove will usually need a TimberTech starter strip to begin the decking. Boards are then placed together by tongue and groove. Use 2 1/2 inch stainless steel screws.Leave a 3/16 inch gap between planks laid end to end, house walls and between fascia boards.
Conclusion
TimberTech is a good product for people who want an alternative to wood decks. Can be used around pool decks , again a good low maintenance product. Still , remember composites can have mold and black mildew spots. Usually some maintenance such as pressure washing, bleaching, and regular cleaning will help.
